Concept art: Platform game character
My character is in an exaggerated style as that tends to be the sort of style I draw kind of
well. It's easy enough to tell she is exaggerated given her proportion, large eyes and, well, her cat ears and tail. Her design is pretty simple I guess. She has rather short brown hair with some white material woven into it on her left. And above that, two cat ears which match her hair colour, she has a hoop in the left ear and a green as well as a purple stud in the right. With the ears she also has a long dark brown tail with a paler tip. She wears a small green collar around her neck with a bell which matches her belt, as well as a short green dress with a cropped black jacket with white lining and a grey hood. Finally, long black socks wit a green ribbon above and some white frill, the same as the finger less gloves she has, andddd white pirate style boots. She fits into my game as it is essentially about a cat trying to destroy the world called 'Kuro-Neko sama' Although initially her name was going to be Nagisa. You progress through each level as the cat, obtaining objects such as guns, bombs, dynamite and Yen. Each level is set in the main capital of a country, and you blow up the country once you have gathered all of the objects. Given the objective, it's pretty obvious that you don't play as the protagonist, I haven't even got one. It's all about the antagonist. Though I'm happy enough with my game so far. There was a huge design flaw I made. And that is although I can draw females and the like to scale and such, I can't do pixel art very well, if at all. So she looks nothing like this in the game. So I guess I'll class this as her in her human hybrid form. In the game is is basically a plain, small and black cat with green eyes... Yeah I'm no good with pixels.
Legal And Ethical
I don't know if there would be any legal issues? I mean, people may not be happy blowing up their own country and to a degree, the concept may be seen as controversial. Then you've also got copyrighted images as I did get the from google and did not take them myself.
Ethically we return to the subject of destroying countries. I had England, Egypt, America, Japan and France. Now I certainly see why there could be an issue here. And that is because while I was making my game I did have a Paris themed level, and some time into making it, Paris obviously faced a deal of terrorist attacks so I did have to change this level as it may have been viewed as inappropriate after the tragedy a few weeks ago.

Mood Board For Main Character
This is near enough entirely consistent of cats and cat girls I have seen in anime. Although I do have a few things in this that I like, as in the male characters uniform as those tend to be the clothes I draw pretty frequently. This mood board is also mainly based around the game 'NekoPara' )The brown haired girl and white hair girl) As I enjoy the game and really like the style they have.
Mood Board For Levels
These countries are basically the scenery inspiration for all of my levels. There is England, America, France, Egypt as well as Japan. These are all near enough famous land marks from each of the countries, the Eiffel tower, shrines, pyramids, Statue of Liberty and Big Ben.
